Steganosaurus is my dissertation project that aimed to developed motion vector based techniques for hiding information in video in a secure and practical manner.
Throughout the course of this project I developed a cross-platform solution, written in C, which uses a modified version of the FFmpeg library to hide data in H.264 video files.
Towards the end of this project I was invited to provide a guest lecture on video steganography for academics, researchers and students at The University of Sheffield’s Computer Science department.
We believe that this project is the first of its kind to produce a cross-platform solution that is available for download.
Steganosaurus was awarded the 'Best Third Year Project' for 2013.
